Welcome to Line Operations. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Line Operations website at https://lineoperations.com and the Line Operations SMS dispatch platform (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Line Operations ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
Line Operations provides an SMS-based job dispatch and communication platform designed for the electrical line work industry. The Service enables contractors and employers to send job opportunity notifications to linemen via SMS text messages. Linemen can accept job assignments by replying to text messages (e.g., replying "YES" or "Y"). The Service facilitates coordination between contractors and linemen for job assignments, scheduling, and related operational communications.
2. SMS Messaging Terms
The following terms apply specifically to the Line Operations SMS messaging program. Full details — including our consent script, sample messages, and complete opt-out instructions — are also published on our dedicated SMS Terms & Opt-In Consent page. By consenting to receive SMS messages from Line Operations, you agree to the following:
SMS Program Summary
Program Name: Line Operations Job Dispatch
Program Description: Line Operations sends SMS messages to enrolled linemen containing job opportunity notifications, job assignment details (including location, scope of work, dates, and pay information), dispatch confirmations and updates, and essential service communications related to your participation in the platform.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies — typically 1–20 messages per week, and may be higher or lower during active storm restoration events. Additional messages may be sent for time-sensitive job opportunities or essential service updates.
Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details regarding your text messaging plan and any associated charges.
3. User Consent for SMS Messaging
By providing your mobile phone number and agreeing to receive messages from Line Operations — whether through your employer or contractor, through our platform directly, or by texting a keyword to our number — you expressly consent to receive recurring SMS text messages from Line Operations at the mobile number you provide. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of employment or of using any other service. Consent to receive messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
You represent and warrant that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile device and phone number you provide, and that you are authorized to approve the applicable charges.
4. Opt-Out Instructions
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text STOP to any message you receive from Line Operations. You may also text QUIT, CANCEL, END, or UNSUBSCRIBE to opt out. After sending your opt-out request, you will receive a single confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.
If you wish to re-enroll in the SMS program after opting out, you may do so by contacting your employer or contractor, or by reaching out to us directly.

6. Supported Carriers
Our SMS service is supported on major U.S. mobile carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service availability may vary by carrier and is subject to each carrier's terms and conditions.
7. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
8. User Responsibilities
When using the Service, you agree to provide accurate and current information, including your correct mobile phone number. You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of job dispatch and work-related communications. You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful, harassing, or abusive purpose. You agree to promptly notify us of any changes to your mobile phone number or if you wish to stop receiving messages. You agree not to attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including your mobile phone number and messaging data. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or opt-in consent data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to the website design, text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Line Operations and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Service without our prior written consent.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY OR TIMELINESS OF SMS MESSAGES, AS DELIVERY IS DEPENDENT ON YOUR MOBILE CARRIER AND NETWORK CONDITIONS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DELAYS, FAILURES, OR ERRORS IN MESSAGE DELIVERY CAUSED BY YOUR MOBILE CARRIER OR NETWORK PROVIDER.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINE OPERATIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, MISSED JOB OPPORTUNITIES, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, FOR USE OF THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Line Operations and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
14. Modifications to the Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Line Operations regarding the use of the Service, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
